GMDX - Raman Spectrometer
The GMDX is a portable micro Raman spectrometer that is designed to be compact and versatile. It includes an all-in-one system with an XYZ three-axis sample stage, a 5 megapixel charge-coupled device (CCD) camera, and a 10X objective lens, which can be easily changed by the user to provide different magnifications. This makes the GMDX an ideal tool for Raman spectroscopy and spectroscopic analysis, as well as for molecular identification and chemical analysis.
The GMDX also has a laser power output that can be directly controlled by software, with a maximum power of 100 mW at 1 mW/step for RGB laser systems. In addition, the laser power can be reduced by a continuously variable neutral density filter (O.D 2.0~0.04) that is also controlled by software with high precision. This allows users to fine-tune the laser power to suit their particular measurement needs.
The GMDX is capable of using different laser wavelengths for different applications, such as micro Raman or micro photoluminescence (PL). It can measure wavelengths ranging from 535 ~ 1100 nm for PL or 79 ~ 3500 cm-1 using a 532 nm laser. The spot of the laser on the sample should be 0.3 mm in diameter. This makes the GMDX a valuable tool for materials science applications and a wide range of other measurement needs.
